Architectural, Interior Design Photographer, Enrique Colls
Born on October 11, 1966 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I came to Miami in 1984 with my family. Then, I started my photography career as a hobby, but quickly became engrossed in the subject and took photography classes at Robert Morgan Vocational School and nearby Community Colleges in Miami. I’m currently working as an independent real estate photographer for major real estates companies in South Florida like Coldwell Bankers and Keyes. Also, I started a challenging job as a free-lancer working for different news media and magazines, such as El Nuevo Herald, Associated Press (AP), Miami Sur La Terre, City Choice, Hola, Vista and Power Boats magazine.
In my spare time, I like to travel to beautiful scenic locations in Costa Rica, California, Puerto Rico, and wildlife refuges throught out Florida. On April of 2000, I visited the island of Cuba to learn about my family roots and to photograph the beautiful country and architecture. This trip was a learning experience of a lifetime.
I enjoy wildlife, nature photography, but architectural and interior design photography is my specialty. I spend countless hours in the Florida Everglades, stalking wildlife with my Nikon D-100 and D-200. I have been a professional photographer for the past 20 years and I’m a member of the International Freelance Photographers Organization (IFPO) since 1997 and won an Editor’s Choice Award from IFPO in 1998.
